Build a Scene Card

Hi y'all,

A few weeks ago I told you that I wanted to make the little birdie in the Love Letters stamp set fly and I did that!  It makes me so happy.  Here's a little video to show you how that was done.

The trickiest thing about building a scene is deciding which object is in front of the other.  That's why I stamped the birdie and then masked it so the birdie is inside the paper airplane.

Another favorite technique that I shared was using Distress Ink and clear embossing powder together.  You can have so many more embossed colors that way.  I always use Versa Mark ink first and then stamp the Distress Ink for an even and solid coverage.  Distress Ink can bead up on stamps.

You haven't seen the last of my Love Letters Stamp Set.  There are so many possibilities!
Fly Birdie, fly!

Thanks for popping in!
