You can probably tell I haven't found the perfect balance in my life because I haven't been in this space in a while. I love being in this space and I'm happy happy happy to be here today.
My sister-in-law found some old paper sample books in some corner of our print shop and thought I might like them. Boy was she right! I've chosen one that is spiral bound with different size sheets to alter into an art journal that's all about autumn. I'm hoping to finish by Halloween. Wish me luck!
I love fall! |
Below is the process video. This was so fun to make and from start to finish this spread took me less than 25 minutes.
The first step was to cover the thin sheet of paper with a floral orange piece of card stock and trim off the excess. Then I drew a simple pumpkin on a scrap of kraft paper. (Except for the orange floral paper, everything else was from scraps.) Using a white paint pen I added patterns to the different sections of the pumpkin.
On the orange paper, I glued some script tissue paper. In the upper corner I added orange and black washi tap and on the bottom I added a scrap of mono print. I wadded up some green baker's twine and glued my pumpkin on top using Glossy Accents.
Using my favorite Lawn Fawn stamp set I added the heart and sentiment. Lastly, I used some Wink of Stella to make my pumpkin shimmer.
This project uses minimal supplies, but they are listed below if you are curious. Can I challenge you to a minimal supplies crafty project?
Autumn Blessings,
Carolyn
