Making a Bookmark

Hi y'all,

My family is full of book nerds.  We love to read.  I was realizing that I was using old receipts and scraps of things for book marks.  Once it was a dollar bill.  For a crafty girl such as myself this is rather silly.  I should make one.

Making this bookmark is fun!

The process video is below.  I film everything but drying times, and then seriously cut it down!  Sometimes over editing happens.  I chopped out the part that shows coloring the flower centers with a white gel pen.

There are two surprises on the video.  One is music from Kevin McCormick.  He's quite an excellent guitarist and I'm delighted he's sharing with us. To find out more about him, click here. There will be a link to El Noi de la Mare so you can listen to it again.

Did you see the sneak peek of the stickers?  My new product is called Paper Faith.  I chose my favorite wise words from the Bible, including words from my mother's and grandmother's favorite Psalms.   Enter a comment below to win a set of Paper Faith and Paper Poetry.  A random winner will be chosen.

What is our take away with this week?  How about read often and use your favorite wise words in your art?

What are your favorite wise words?  I would love to hear them!

Blessings,

Carolyn
